Art Hellebusch founded InsuranceWorks, Inc. in 1988 with the goal of developing an independent life and health agency that helps the client navigate the insurance market. Art lives in Lexington with his wife, Jan. Art and Jan have three sons, Atherton, Stuart and Forrest. Besides water and snow skiing, Art enjoys cycling. InsuranceWorks sponsors the Pedal Power Cycling Group, which includes competitive cyclists and helps promote cycling activities in Lexington.
Art is a 1981 graduate of the University of Kentucky and has served Lexington in various volunteer roles, including being a board member of Big Brother/Big Sister Program, the Child Development Center of the Bluegrass, and the Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency.
